A Conscious Presence in the Landscape
Alpamyr House marks the transition to Amden’s vast raised bog. Reduced and minimalist in Swiss fashion, its low height and thoughtful integration into the terrain ensure a quiet, unobtrusive presence, despite its size. Two independent living units enable luxurious living across generations, with strategic openings that frame the landscape and create a dialogue between interior and exterior.

Durable Design, Interior Warmth
The facade, clad in rough-sawn, dark-stained spruce, unites three distinct volumes. Window bands and glazing are subtly recessed, while the south side opens to a continuous veranda, offering shade, privacy, and an extended living space. Inside, wood panelling adds much-needed warmth, complementing the understated elegance of the design.

Built for Longevity and Efficiency
Alpamyr House prioritizes conscious durability. Wooden panelling, lime plaster, natural stone, and ecological paints define its interiors and exteriors. Energy efficiency aligns with Minergie standards, supported by a heat pump and a high-performance photovoltaic system, ensuring sustainability without compromise.

Intergenerational Living, Thoughtfully Designed
The home is designed to foster community and closeness, while respecting individual needs. It embodies a commitment to shared, luxurious living, offering spaces for connection and retreat, all within a design that values both the landscape and the architecture.
