A new civic platform
The Fieldhouse Sports Hall in Laghetti, South Tyrol introduces a striking concrete volume that blends into the terrain while offering views over the surrounding sports fields. Designed by MoDusArchitects, it functions as both a sports facility and a public gathering space.

Built into the slope
Set between football pitches and rising land, the two-level structure mediates the site’s topography. Its low form transforms along the site, acting as a terrace, connector, and marker within the local landscape.

More than just sports
Inside, the building houses changing rooms, a caretaker’s residence, offices, and community areas. It also accommodates the Tiroler Schützen association, reinforcing its role as a cultural and social hub.

Sustainable and efficient
With a flat roof supporting 52 photovoltaic panels, the Fieldhouse meets CasaClima A standards. Its integration of lighting elements and robust materials ensures long-term use and minimal environmental impact.
