Historic inn revived
After lying dormant for decades, Gasthaus Dreiviertelweg has been carefully restored at 1,325 meters along the pilgrimage route to Maria Weißenstein. Once a lively meeting place for pilgrims, travellers, and villagers, the inn has regained its role as a social hub, combining renewed charm with its enduring character.

Respectful renovation
The project focused on preserving the building’s identity while subtly updating it. Original furniture and materials were reused, colours and details from the past were reinterpreted, and unsympathetic additions were replaced. A new veranda, now serving as the dining room, complements the historic structure while maintaining its authenticity.

A place of encounter
Gasthaus Dreiviertelweg continues to serve as a gathering space: a guesthouse for locals, a stop for pilgrims, and a place for games and shared moments. Free from digital distractions, it offers visitors a slower pace, where simplicity and mindful living replace excess and constant connectivity.

Culinary Locality
The inn embraces a farm-to-fork approach, with regional ingredients and traditional recipes shaping the menu. Guests experience the landscape not only through the surrounding views but also through flavors rooted in local farming and culture. Modern comfort meets authenticity, creating a retreat grounded in tradition.
