Architectural Identity and Functional Core
The Just Visitor Centre forms the new architectural gateway to the JUST Schweiz AG headquarters. It unites a shop, seminar room, and office spaces under one roof, creating a central contact point for guests. As part of a broader effort to streamline internal processes, the building also links previously separate operational structures, establishing a more efficient and coherent site layout.

Designed for Interaction and Storytelling
This compact three-storey structure was conceived as a discreet yet expressive building, focusing on visitor experience and product presentation. The ground-floor shop window is the only transparent element, while the rest of the building maintains a reserved stance towards the exterior. Its richly ornamented facade becomes a symbolic canvas, communicating the company’s values—tradition, sustainability, and quality—while sparking emotional engagement.

Timber as a Statement Material
Built almost entirely from untreated solid wood, the centre exemplifies environmentally responsible construction. The intricate form required meticulous surveying and planning to meet the aesthetic and functional demands. By embracing timber as a versatile building material, the project underlines JUST’s commitment to both innovation and ecological awareness.

Crafted Details and Regional Echoes
Traditional motifs—such as artistically crafted facade elements and stylised gable triangles—pay homage to the company’s Appenzell heritage. These details reinforce a sense of place and authenticity, blending craftsmanship with corporate identity. The building becomes more than a showroom; it’s a tangible expression of cultural and material continuity.
