A cultural landmark in the village
The Musikpavillon Bramberg redefines the role of a village stage, creating a central space for concerts and community gatherings. Designed as a response to frequent weather disruptions, it not only provides a contemporary performance venue but also reorganizes the entire festival grounds with a bar, restrooms, and a flexible weather protection system.

Dynamic architectural presence
The pavilion’s striking form recalls a grounded stealth aircraft, spreading its angular wings across the village park. These wings shape the audience area while simultaneously dividing the meadow from the wooded section of the park. With a movable rear wall, the stage transforms into a passage when not in use, keeping the park visually and spatially connected.

Contrasting facades and materials
Facing the wooded side, the building is shielded with protective facade panels, while on the audience side, the structure reveals its larch timber framework. Folded wall and ceiling panels enhance the acoustics and extend along the pavilion’s wings. Cleverly, these panels can also open to create a serving bar during events, further integrating functionality into the architectural expression.

Flexible space for all seasons
The audience area is grounded in colored concrete, while four large umbrellas—each covering 81 square meters—can swiftly transform the square into a sheltered venue. With side elements and rain channels, the system creates a tent-like structure, ensuring that concerts and gatherings can take place well beyond the summer season.
